I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website. We are so grateful that God has allowed us to have this website as a vehicle for spreading the gospel, expanding our ministry, pointing lost souls to Calvary, and helping to usher men, women, boys and girls into the Kingdom of God.
It is my sincere prayer and hope that this website will be a valuable tool and resource as you strive to grow and develop into a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. I would also like to extend to you and your family, a personal invitation to join us each Sunday morning in our 10 a.m. worship service.

Pastor Clayton Eugene Taylor Sr.
Rev. Dr. Clayton E. Taylor, Sr.
Reverend Dr. Clayton Eugene Taylor Sr is the Senior Pastor of the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in East Point, Georgia. He was born in Pineville, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Reverend Rosenthal and Bessie Lillian Taylor., and reared in Houston, Texas. He is the product of the Houston Public School District and a graduate of Jack Yates Senior High School. Upon graduation, he attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Religion. He is also a graduate of Morehouse School of Religion of the Interdenominational Theological Center, where he received a Master of Divinity degree in Parish Ministry and Pastoral Care. He later received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Hermeneutics and Nouthetic Counseling from Anchor Seminary and Bible Institute in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Reverend Taylor has been actively involved in the work of the church since the days of his youth. He was baptized, and later licensed and ordained into the Christian ministry at the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas under the mentorship of the late Reverend Dr. Moses L. Price. While residing in Houston, he served as president of the Youth Division of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Texas. In the year 1963, he was chosen as a delegate to the 5th Annual Baptist World Youth Conference which was held on the campus of the American University in Beirut, Lebanon. While a student at Morehouse College, he served as a chapel assistant to the college minister, the late Dr. Sam Williams.
In March of 1966, during his sophomore year, at the age of 19, he was called to the pastorate of the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, which was then located in Atlanta, but is now located in East Point, Georgia.

Reverend Dr. Taylor is a member or numerous organizations that serve the needs of many. Just to name a few: the Metropolitan Atlanta Baptist Ministers Union, General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.,
Chairman of the J.F. Kennedy Advisory Board Prescription Learning Program; Member of the Advisory Board of the Morehouse School of Medicine Imani Project, Past Dean and Vice- moderator of the Mount Calvary Missionary and Educational Association., member of the NAACP, and a Board member of the Willie A. Watkins Foundation. He is the Immediate Past President of the 5th District Congress of Christian Education of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc.

Reverend Dr. Taylor is the recipient of numerous awards, honors, and proclamations from Governors, Mayors, elected public officials, schools and religious organizations. Among these are the Build A Better Georgia Award, the My Hero Award (Douglas County), The Liberty Bell Award (South Fulton County), Isaac R. Clark Award in Homiletics (ITC), Key to city of Chattanooga (Mayor Pat Rose) He was honored on two occasions as a recipient of the Atlanta Gospel Choice Award, recognition in the Gospel Award Today Magazine, and also recognized by Atlanta Business Journal as one of the most influential African American Ministers in Atlanta. He was also named " A Legendary Pastor" by the Divinity school at Virginia Union University. He was honored also for his servant work as a pastor for 50 plus years, by the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia Inc, and the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
In January 2008, he served as the Chairman of the Welcome Program Committee for the 2nd historic joint mid-winter Board meeting of the four National Baptist Conventions when they met in Atlanta, Georgia. On April 3rd, 20 he was inducted into the prestigious Martin Luther King, Jr. International Board of Preachers at Morehouse College,
In a more recent bio update, Reverend Dr. Taylor, has been recognized as a Highly acclaimed Pastoral-Leader, compelling speaker, and dynamic political consultant during the uncertain time of challenge and change. He has been
widely celebrated for his riveting sermons and inspiring writings on Truth and justice and Peace and Love. Whether serving as a member of the Atlanta Inter-Racial Steering Committee during the Missing and Murdered Children Crisis in Atlanta, engaging young minds in his on-gong insightful work as Senior of St. Paul Missionary Church for the past 56 years, a position that he has held since he was a nineteen-year-old student at Morehouse College....
Dr. Taylor is arguably the consummate spiritual counselor for all seasons, and his remarkable work in Christian service has been consistent in value and influence from year to year. Therefore, it was not surprising when President Barak Obama fervently praised him for the continuing excellence of his wok that has touched the lives of many:
"I hope you take pride in the many lives you have touched
and the communities you have moved. I wish you continued blessings in the years ahead,"
said President Obama
Above all, Dr. Taylor is consistently known as a committed servant of Christ, and as one whose workday is governed, not by the clock, nor by finances, but by human need----thus echoing the riveting words of Jesus Christ; “Ye shall know them by their works".
On August 26, 2022, he will be one of the honorees to receive the Joseph R. Biden Presidential Volunteer service Award and also the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in an Awards ceremony to be held in the Martin Luther King International Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College.

Christine Eunice Taylor - First Lady
Christine Eunice Taylor is the beloved and devoted wife of the Reverend Dr. Clayton Eugene Taylor Sr., pastor of the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, East Point, Georgia.
First Lady Christine was born in Avera, Georgia, the youngest child of the late Tommie and Hattie Mae Davis. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Avera when she was a child, and received her early elementary education at E.R. Carter Elementary School and later graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and from what is now Clark Atlanta University, with a Master of Arts degree in counseling.
Upon graduating from Morris Brown College, Lady Christine began her 31-successful year career as a teacher at Center Hill Elementary School, and later at John F. Kennedy Middle School in northwest Atlanta. After her retirement, she never lost her passion for teaching and helping young people. So, after a short break for relaxation and leisure, she returned to the classroom as a lead teacher in the Educational Talent Search For Middle School Students Program at Morris Brown College, where she taught for 12 more years before officially retiring again. It is noteworthy to mention, that during her career as a successful educator, she was very instrumental in helping to mold and shape the lives of her students in a very meaningful and positive way. This is made evident by the fact that some of them went on to become very successful in their careers and professions, as educators, doctors, entrepreneurs, ministers, and CEOs in corporate America.
Lady Christine is a charter member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist church, where she has been actively involved in various capacities across the years. She served as a Sunday School teacher, church clerk, director of vacation Bible school for more than 30 years, president of usher ministry #2, instructor in the New member orientation and enrichment ministry, and organizer of the Clayton Eugene Taylor Gospel choir. She also operated her Meals on Wheels Ministry, where she used her own personal resources to prepare meals for the elderly members of Saint Paull and for many homeless people on the streets of Atlanta. She has also served as Women's day speaker at Saint Paul and a few other churches in the city of Atlanta and Austell Georgia.

At this current season in her life, Lady Christine is still involved and playing a vital role in her husband's ministry at the Paul. Aside from being his personal secretary at home, she is busily involved each day answering telephone calls, checking on the sick and shut-in, sending out thank you notes, get well and sympathy cards, or just giving wise counsel to the young and the elderly who need someone to give them a listening ear or a word of encouragement.
Lady Christine has received many certificates, plaques, and awards for her meritorious contributions in the field of education. She is a member of the Retired Teachers Association of Georgia, and the Georgia Association of Educators. She has traveled extensively with her husband to such places, as Hawaii, Alaska, the Bahama and, Jamaica Islands, Paris, France, the Holy Land, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan and various cities throughout these United States.
Lastly, but by no means least, she is the proud mother of five children, grandmother of nine grandchildren and great grandmother of eight great grandchildren.
We are extremely proud to have this amazing, beautiful, and phenomenal woman, Christine Eunice Taylor our First Lady at the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in East Point, Georgia.

Rev. Christopher E. Taylor Sr., M.Div.
Rev. Christopher E. Taylor Sr. is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He accepted his calling to the gospel ministry at the age of 7 years old. Rev. Taylor was ordained in the gospel ministry in July of 2005. He is a member of the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church of East Point, Georgia where he serves as Co- Pastor. He previously served as Youth Pastor from 2005-2019 under the leadership of his biological and spiritual father, Dr. Clayton E. Taylor Sr.
Pastor Taylor is an anointed man of God who has a zeal and passion for the things of God that goes unsurpassed. He is a gifted teacher, preacher, leader, and community servant. Rev. Taylor continues to actively remain involved in the teaching ministry in his church among his leadership servant calling; he has taught Bible Study, New Membership Orientation, Youth Church, and is a coordinator of Vacation Bible School with the Christian Education Ministry. Rev. Taylor’s various preaching, teaching, and speaking engagements have taken him to churches throughout the South- East and Mid-West United States. He has preached God’s word at youth day services, revivals, prayer breakfasts, conferences, enrichment workshops, funeral services with the Willie Watkins funeral home where he is staffed, and several other funeral homes in the Metro Atlanta area, and many worship services at various churches.

Rev. Taylor successfully completed a Summer Theological Intensive Study on the campus of Harvard University sponsored by the New Life School of Theology Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management in 2013 from the University of Phoenix. He holds a Master of Divinity at Luther Rice College and Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia class of 2021. He plans on pursuing further studies to attain a Doctoral of Ministry degree to further his ministry calling.
Rev. Taylor served as the Executive Board Director of “Destined 4 Change”, 2016-2018, a mentoring program that works with Fulton Co. Juvenile Court, the YMCA, and several other youth focused agencies. He remains an Executive Board Member with D4C. He is also a founding board member of the “Strong Community Literacy Program” of Atlanta, a non-profit organization established in 2017, which was state funded to support the development of young readers from the ages of 3-8 years old. He is in his 16th year of professional employment with engineering and motion control global leader, Parker Hannifin Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio where he has held several roles, and is currently Senior Lead in the Atlanta facility, which he been an integral contributor to the company’s growth reaching 25 million dollars annually.
Rev. Taylor is a member of the NAACP, and a proud partner with the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pastor Taylor is the proud father of three wonderful children, Christopher Jr., Genesis, and Kennedy Grace. He is the recipient of many awards and notable achievements, and though much could be said about his various accomplishments, Rev. Taylor would rather everyone know that he is above all, a servant of God, a born-again Christian, and he is ever determined to preach, teach, share, and promote the good news of Jesus Christ.
